Before you decide to go through with the decision to make an investment in real fur coats this winter check the backing.  If you can see it at the hem or if you can stitch a couple of threads at the seam check the feel and look.  Look for a leather backing on the fur itself which will tell you whether it’s real or an extremely authentic looking faux.
